The Other One

The Other One

A Poem by LonelyWanderer

Words stopped rhyming,
So did her life;
Thoughts slipped away carelessly
And she struggled to thrive.
But they could never leave
From the four walled room,
Just wandered in the darkness
Till they got buried and doomed.
Light came through the window
But could never reach her mind...
Nor could it warm her
As she lied cold and blind.
It was a fake life she lived
Of fake smiles and fake role
Or probably it wasn't her life at all
A life from somewhere she stole.

From some other room,
From some other soul,
Living some other life
Playing some other role.
