Thin blue light

Thin blue light

A Poem by Anne Martin
"

something found deep inside

"

cool on the edges
my existence emerges
as thin blue light

my heat hidden
a molten core
forever shrouded

identity fantasist
unburdened emerald
faery goddess

a winged sprite

flitting between shadows
creature of night

sweet temptress

makes her choice
a soothing song

truth revealed

in shafts of moonlight
a bait, a lure

a presence trapped

in today's reality shaping
tomorrow's dreams

giving birth to a blink
of a moment lost
in a cerulean sunset
