Lullaby Once More

Lullaby Once More

A Poem by Anne Marjorie
"

I was just feeling little empty.

"
A nostalgic lullaby plays again
Then I remembered that moment when,
The melodies played were the words before
You use to mean and sincerely swore

It was sudden yet it was true
A tear in my eye left you a clue
How much I miss the songs you sing
And the happiness to me it magically brings

How I wish I could hear you again
Making tune of the love we knew back then
It was lost, all the illusions were gone
Far so long, I shed till dawn

Music ends like a sad love story.
I'll stay here, wait till the lines go blurry.
Wishing you stayed and sang me more
I'll wait for you, like a song for sure.
