Never AgainA Poem by Anne Marjorie
Never again will I see you smile,
for you walked away from me Never again, even in a while I could see what we used to be The conscience inside me bothers Did I do something? Was it my fault? And only loved you, day after another Am I worth this pain and extreme insult? Never again will I hear you say "I love you so much, always will." For you're taking steps far away My heart's emptiness, my heart's thrill I love you more than you ever knew I can no longer bear this want for you I want you back, this time is true But never again shall I hear you say "I love you too." © 2012 Anne Marjorie |
