Half Moon

Half Moon

A Poem by J Johnson III

A Vampire Night

The cold wind blows

When will the killing end

Nobody knows

The lighting strikes

As they fly round and round

Carefully plotting

Selecting those on the ground

Devastating rain pours down

Draining all of the happiness in this old town

Carefully at night watch your back if you will

Or suffer their wrath, taking misery's pill

I love the rhyme scheme hear as well. I could see the lightening striking the ground clearly. Overall I enjoyed the read. It truly was mysterious. Thank you for sharing. :)
