Emotions

Emotions

A Poem by Carrie
"

Maybe I try to hard. Maybe I don't try hard enough.

"
When is it
that the epiphany strikes?
Are the experiences that inspire
emotions such as nostalgia, melancholia, love, hate, and distrust
required in order to enhance our view on life?
Or is our sincere mimicry of these emotions enough?
I suppose it depends on how you define certain feelings.
If we never achieve a specific feeling that millions of other beings do, will our copy-cat lifestyles ever cease our craving for emotion?

I want to apologize for it not being great. However a wise person once told me to never apologize for my writing.

Beautiful.

I felt the passion put into these words.

Don't apologize for what you feel.
