Babble Babble

Babble Babble

A Poem by Anna Rivers
"

What do we hear outside when by water?

"
Babble babble babble…
That’s all I hear,
While over by the river I draw near.
I watch as a duck and her children waddle.
All they hear is babble babble.
The water I flick
With my lucky stick.
And still all I hear is babble babble babble.
