What If

What If

"

What if this is never to end?

I am ripped apart at the seams.

Screaming inside, crying in streams,

All dreams are scattered, hope is shattered.

Body feels, torn and tattered.

Clenching teeth, seething in anger,

Nasty words, become sharp swords.

Lashing out to slash many hearts!

I've separated from my congregation.

Humbly now, I mumble prayers,

Numbly standing, I demand no more.

Trembling in fear, as I remember....

What if God says, I'm not strong enough...

To sing my song or admit my wrongs?

.........Day is long, can't keep going on................

I'm swayed inside,to be led along.

He's blessed me with Grace, and carried me away,

Retraced my steps and paced myself.

Not one more What If...Because...

I've been sent away,on to my Home!

Where I am found, and Proudly welcomed.

Forever offered... profoundly deep love,

From above, in Glory....If only I knew then.......

..........No more warnings adorning my mind..................
