Rat KingA Poem by Anna IvyLittle brown eyed mouse questions the rat. Inspired by a favorite music composer of mine <3You there You're out of line Come with me This one here is ideal See how her eyes are grey The perfect color Not a thought crosses her mind That questions me That defiles me That is hopeful I am above you I am powerful I own you You owe me You don't complete me I complete you I have allowed your existence I have allowed you love What? I'll slap you for that You dare question my love? My love for you And all my little mice? Perhaps you're a rat In mice clothing Yes Nice clothing See there? The empire I have built See how happy they are A colony of gratitude No place for your attitude Every one of you Here to serve me I am your king I am The Rat Keeping all the little mice girls Yes Nice girls From the cruel world Little mouse Do you defile me? Must I remove your clothing and tame this rat girl? Good I thought as much Go on Little brown eyes And tell your mice friends Of my good deed My mercy My power And my love © 2013 Anna IvyAuthor's Note
