DecisionA Poem by Miss AnnaRather ironic, considering I'm very much against people my age making these sort of decisions. But what's the world without a little hypocrisy now and again? :)
We walked and walked
For hours, we were gone Talked, hands together Hearts together, minds apart Grass and lakes and railroad tracks The sun on our faces Down our arms and our backs My mind it ran miles and miles, like we did Away from the world Away from the city, to one another In that gazebo, the benches, the flowers You kissed me, I knew That one day right there I'd say "I do" © 2011 Miss Anna |
