Adieu, Mon Cherie

Adieu, Mon Cherie

A Poem by Miss Anna
"

Another little gravestone piece.

"

In loving memory

Of a gal from old Paris

She loved and she lost

Gave her heart for the cost

Now she lies here alone

In the home she’d never known

Was this an epitaph for English? It's amazing--the rhymes fit perfectly. I'm jealous; mine was so lame! I especially love the last line. (This is the girl in your English class who plays tennis....)

I want to take this world and dust it off. Take the corruption and tears and sorrow and give it all a little shake. Make the world fresh, make it what it was. more..
