Sunny Melody

Sunny Melody

A Poem by Annie
"

Just happy to be alive

"

I drink the overflowing cup

Of the citrus sun,

And catch the bursting pulp of rays

Which splash upon my tongue.

Clouds: the icing, Skies: the tart,

Stars: the cream of the crop.

Life's the tastiest of them all:

The glossy cherry on top!
