BlindnessA Poem by AnnieThe enhanced sensations of the blind. Is it dark? Is it light? ...Well, it's nothing at all. But nothing from one thing Can paint something by something else.
Stormy gray, through the rush of the ocean Leafy green, through the brush of the wind Vibrant orange, through squirts of citrus Raven black, through morose funeral dirges.
I can see subtle smiles through light, fleeting snowflakes which melt in my palm. Angry snarls through beeping cars. I see the pale fragility of my veins by their quivering pulse I see the rainbow's arabesque by the dance of sun and rain. Tastes, sounds, aromas, sensations Sauté seduction, compose cities, musk rainy days, swing hips in a red dress.
Is it dark? Is it light? ...Well, it's nothing at all. But nothing from one thing Can paint something by something else.
