A Simple Lost… it never ends.

This is about missing to the someone who passed away and you cannot forget them even one day.

I miss you
As though you’re still here

every day

I miss you.
I thought it was merely spirit from body.
A simple parting
But in truth

apart from memories, not even a trace remains.

I miss you
Waited for this little rat

until your last breath.

But I’m grateful,

you’ve escaped the darkness.
My selfish heart still longs for you to stay.

Perhaps the one who leaves may never know,
How those left behind suffer.
As Sir Chaint once said:
“Too much remembering,
The longing lingers, the pain never heals.”

We learn to live with the loss
In time it scars over
But the remembering and longing
Is without end

On the other hand, the one who’s past leaves behind the human mess we all carry
And remembers only the good
