Haven

Haven

A Poem by Anjeline

When all doors fade away and leave you
stranded in the dark,
Burdened with the allegations when you start
to loose your spark

Questioning your existence, when they treat
you like a raven
Promising to be there forever, I'll be your
haven

Beautiful, love it! 💕

Personally, I love Ravens and Crows,
but they do have a reputation for being cursed, so it works.

Beautiful sentiment in this poem Anjeline. Having someone who can offer comfort can be hugely beneficial. You can’t place a value on that.

I like the allusion to Poe.
It can be so hard for people who feel a separation from those they love.
It makes them feel self-conscious and worse, worthless.
Like a bum in an alley refused even a handout.
But if there is that one person who stands with them no matter what...that friend
who offers arms of comfort...that is a treasure.

I kind of like ravens, actually. They're very intelligent birds. I still enjoyed the poem. Thank you for sharing.
