Maybe somedayA Poem by Anjeline
Marching towards our tulip gardens we often come across some tiny flowers,
Planning to come back we move on unable to see how time has created some invisible bars. Strolling in the rains with canopy on our head we often come across a wish which we never say, Suppressing our childish plans our brain also tells us- not now but maybe someday, Working tirelessly in our lives a little adventure sometimes come in way , Thinking it will make us astray we tell ourselves maybe someday. Planning for our future when a piece of present knocks at our door, Deciding to give them time later we often allow are busy lives to roar. Soaring towards our dreams though the cloudy sky when heaven gives us a talent like a sun ray Fluttering with more speed we pay no heed concluding to praise it maybe someday. Running to reach the destination we never enjoy the journey, Forgetting to tell our loved ones that- they make me. Ignoring all our cravings we wait to fulfill them on a perfect "maybe someday" Not once realising that all that God gives us to run after is a today For living the moment doesn't mean abandoning your responsibilities, Because managing both is what growing up means. Just remember to make every second count Never forget that your limits are the mountains you have to mount So crawl ,walk ,run ,fall ,get up but don't stop today As those who reside in the present make every day there maybe someday. © 2019 AnjelineAuthor's Note
