For the Creators...

You need me to write songs.

You need me to fight wars,

Between the yellow of the pages,

Between the nature and the forces.

You need me to create creations.

You need me to take that resolution,

To stop the dirty ways

By the use of my lonely words.

You need me to find out the truth.

You need me to speak your truth!

Shouting in the dark

For you.

You need me to lose blood.

You need me to save you, first,

Taking in the arrows,

Made of words.

You need me to die for you.

You need me to write for you,

Paint for you,

Sing for you,

Dance for you,

Act for you,

Showing your pain,

Through the splatter of mere colors and words.

That's how artists put their art, first.

This is brilliant becuz of how many details you use to say this. I'm a fan of using lots of strong details to paint a word picture, which you've done here. Great examples, things I never thought of, being an artist can mean. Even tho this is about artists, it also reminds us that each individual has a strength to be used in life . . . I may not be good at one thing, but I have other strong points. That's why people need to focus on what they do well & not feel bad about what they are not good at! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
