A True Friend

A true friend,
Is someone that walks beside you,
Not in front of you, not behind you,
But beside you.

A true friend,
Is there to have fun and laugh with,
But is also there in sad times
and to cry with.

A true friend,
Is honest, loving, caring,
Compassionate, and always
Has a shoulder to lean on.

A true friend,
Never has to worry about the
Friendship ending over a silly fight.
Cause it takes a lot more for
Us to run and take flight.

If you are lucky enough
To find a rare true friend,
Be sure to let them know you care.

I was lucky enough to find
The rare true friend.
And this is just one little way of
letting her know that I love her.
