C.N.A What It Means To Me

C.N.A What It Means To Me

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

It takes a special kind of person to be a
Certified Nursing Assistant.
C.N.A's are very caring and understanding people.
They are dedicated to caring for the elderly
who are unable to care for themselves.
The elderly give us just as much love and
care as we give to them.
The things they give to us are sometimes
the things we need the most,
such as a simple hug or a thank you.
As a C.N.A, I have loved and cared
for many different people.
Some of them were famous in their day,
while others were simple country folk.
I have learned a lot from the many people
I have loved and cared for over the years.
I would not be the person that I am today
if it weren't for the things I have learned
from the elderly.

Dedicated to all the lives that have touched my heart and soul. Thank you and I love you.
