Cries Of An Angel

Cries Of An Angel

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

An angel you are, an angel you be,
You opened my eyes to see there is
true love waiting for me.

An angel you be, an angel you are,
I hear you calling to me from a far.
Your heart calls to mine with that sad and
lonely whine that my heart knows all too well.

An angel you are, an angel you be,
You are all my eyes can see, and nothing
else matters, but you and me.

An angel you be, an angel you are,
Each night I wish upon a star that you will
hear my cries coming from a land so far.

An angel you are, an angel you be,
There are many miles between you and me,
but even that can't stop our love, cause this
story ends with you and me for all eternity.
