If I had a heart of stone,
it wouldn't hurt with every
slam of the phone.

If I had a heart of stone,
it wouldn't ache
when I was alone.

If I had a heart of stone,
my love for you
could never be shown.

If I had a heart of stone,
I could not wake, and my pain
would never be known.
