The PictureA Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~I see a picture of you and I
sitting atop the mantle, but I am the only one that can see it. You ask me what I'm looking at, and I say "you and I sitting by the sea." The look on your face says it all, but you manage to speak. You say "But honey, there isn't any thing there but the wall." I say "close your eyes and look inside your mind." Cause there it will be, for you see I am dreaming of the day we are sitting by the sea. © 2011 ~Anita Sandlin~ |
