Those Three Little Words

I met a man today that didn't try
to come on to me in any way
cause I told him I was gay.
This wonderful man said those
three magical words to me.
I wondered what he could see in me
to make him say that he loved thee.
We have never met in real life you
see, we have only talked on the PC.
He had gotten my curiosity stirred,
so I asked him why he had said
the three words that I heard.
He said to me
  "Wouldn't you rather know that
I care instead of us not ever having
the chance to talk again and never
knowing that I cared for you?"
Whether he knows it or not,
he has touched my soul
where there once was a hole.
