Time Preserved

Time Preserved

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

If one could put time in a bottle and preserve it,
what times in their life would they preserve?
I don't know about everyone else, but I would preserve the times when my children were born.
The times when my sons were laughing and having fun.
All the times when my sons called me mom and said "I love you." I would preserve each Christmas morning when they saw that Santa came and left gifts for them.
There are so many times that I would preserve, cause all of the little things in life mean so much to me. If I could have one wish granted, it would have to be that my sons would be able to come home with me.
Ya Know, people in this world wish for some of the silliest things I ever heard of. I think the most common wish that people wish for is money. Now, what in the world would one need money for in the next life? People now days don't see what life is all about, all they know is they want money for material things that they can possess. They miss all the simple things in life that mean so much.
If time could be put in a bottle and preserved,
would you still preserve the same times as you
would have five minutes ago?
