Tree FriendsA Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~Tall oak trees swaying in the wind;
As a child, they were my only friend. When I needed to talk, they were always there to listen so quietly. When I needed to cry, they were always there for me to lean on so strong. When I needed to feel like I was needed, they were always there for me to care for. Tall oak trees swaying in the wind; As an adult, they are still my truest friend. © 2011 ~Anita Sandlin~ |
