Truth Of The Heart

The heart knows no lies;
it can only speak the truth.
You may not want to listen when
it speaks, cause the truth can
hurt sometimes. It's a truth you can
not change, no matter how hard you try.

The truth my heart speaks
once put a smile on my face,
now it puts a tear in my eye.
Sometimes I wish it would lie,
and tell me that I don't love you
with all my heart.
But I know it will never lie.
