You're My Husband, I'm You're Wife

You're My Husband, I'm You're Wife

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

March 19th 2004 was an amazing day.
This is the day we finally got to say
'I do, together forever, me and you.'
We have waited many years for this day to
come, when we would be husband and wife
for the rest of our life.
Together through life we shall be
side by side, and heart to heart
cause nothing can keep us apart.
Our love is so strong that nothing and
no one can come between us, for together
we do belong. On the day we said 'I do'
You and I became one not two.
I've never been good at calculating numbers
you see, but this equation I do understand.
Each day that passes by our life is even
more grand, cause we are hand in hand
as husband and wife.
