I've Been Bitten

You have touched my heart
in a way that is hard to explain.
You make me laugh and feel silly.
You make it hard for me to sleep and eat.
All day I wait just to spend an hour or two
talking with you, and laughing with you.
Your smile lights up my life like nothing else
can, and your voice makes my heart skip a beat.
I am told these are symptoms of the love bug,
and I do believe I have been bitten.
