Woman Of My Dreams

Woman Of My Dreams

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

I hear my name being called, yet I see no one.
I have searched high and low to find the woman
to whom the voice belongs.
This soft angelic voice makes my heart race
like no other, yet I still don't know who she is.
I can hear her loudest in my dreams, but she
is with me all through my day.
If I am sad, she tells me to
'smile cause you are not alone.'
If I get upset she tells me
'it will be okay, cause I am here for you.'
If I am crying she tells me to
'lean on her shoulder cause life is hard,
but she will always be there to lean on.'
Off to dreamland I go to find this woman
that makes my heart race so.
I hear you calling my name, yet I cannot see you.
I am in love with you, yet I don't know who you are.
Please come out from where ever you are, cause
I want to say I love you, and I want to ask you to
share my life and be my wife!?
She comes into my line of sight and says
'Yes, I will be your wife cause I love you too.'
