Quietly Loving You

Quietly Loving You

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

You walked into my life when
I wasn't looking for love,
but that's what found me.
A love that's so deep that
I ache to touch you, smell you,
hold you, kiss you, and make love with you.
I see you in my dreams; you are in my
thoughts all through the day.
Just to hear your voice makes me smile,
smile from the inside out.
I knew I loved you almost instantly,
yet I am afraid to say it; cause I know you
aren't ready to hear those words, for they
have caused you much pain. I may not say
those three words aloud to you, but I tell you
in my heart every night before I go to sleep.
When you are ready, you will let me know;
but until then I will be quietly loving you.
