A Woman Like You

A Woman Like You

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

You touch me like you could love me forever; But the whole time you're making love to me you know in your heart that you will never leave her. You make promises of you and I together for the rest of our days; But you and I both know that will never be, cause you don't really love me.

I gave you my heart and soul and asked for nothing in return but for you to love me. But I guess that was just too much to ask of a woman like you; A woman that likes to play games with your heart and watches as your heart bleeds to death.
