When 'I Love You' Isn't EnoughA Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~Three words that are spoken so often,
but too many times they are not meant. As I utter these words,I want you to know that I mean every one of them with complete conviction. Saying I love you doesn't come close to the way I feel about you; Yet I can't seem to find a word or phrase to convey what is truly meant. Although I can't find the words to express the way I feel, my heart speaks to yours in a way that words are not needed. A simple glance or the touch of the other says what words cannot. When saying I love you doesn't seem to be enough, look me in the eyes and I will look into yours, and we will know what words cannot say. © 2011 ~Anita Sandlin~ |
