Time To Pen

I don't pick up a pen as much as I
used to, due to a lack of time. But
once in awhile I will still throw out
a rhyme when I have time.

I will never give up my pen for more
than a little while, cause it's my release,
my salvation, my way of putting what I
feel in a mental file.

I have been penning my thoughts
since two-thousand-three and it
has become second nature to me;
No matter what, penning is the way
I'm gonna be.
