Lonely Lover

The sadness of feeling alone even though you are in love.

Love you, Love me
You think love is all that,
well, you would be wrong.
Sometimes love is grand, and
other times love is lonely.
You feel lonely when you should
be surrounded by the halo of
magic that you should be filled
with. Instead, you sit alone
wishing just for once your lover
would notice you.
You can't let go because the love
you have for them is too strong,
yet you don't want to stay
because you feel so alone.
So many questions with no
answers. I love you, do you
love me?

I can relate to this write.. It is a well written poem to wanting to feel the same love you give to the one you love...

Without those special words "I love you," the heart can never be totally sure where it stands. To wonder for too long can cause the light to fade from the relationship confirming that magic can be an illusion after all.
