Squeaky Mouse

Squeaky Mouse

A Poem by Anissa Kessel
"

This is inspired by all the rude comments I've received over the years and the mockery i've dealt with from other people because I have a softer "quiet" voice.

"
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, that's all you hear.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, but I don't hear it.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, you all hear it don't ya?
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, oh how you plague me.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, that's all you say.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, I'll just be quiet.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, no I won't, not anymore.
Squeaky mouse, squeaky mouse, you just don't win.

Good for you. Squeak softly, but carry a big stick.
