Above the clouds

Short description of the sky at night

"
The plane lifts itself from the ground and jets through the sky filled with reds, yellows, oranges and hints of pink. It passes through the orange canopy to a place where no human lives.

Not so long and it is above the clouds wandering to its destination. The sun shining bright red now slowly says its goodbye bringing the colours of the sky along with it. Up above and around, darkness starts to conquer the scene. The red-lined clouds turn grey and a black curved path below (earth) begins to stand out as the light vanishes.

Darkness overlaps half of the world now trying to show its beauty. It fills the itself with stars above and grey clouds below; a scene not quite seen nowadays. Stars that count on the surface are 10, 20 but above its a million of them. They shine brighter in the dark sky and the moon becomes its companion. Its like a room with no shine but just a small bulb and tiny rays of light coming through. Never have I seen such a beautiful picture!

Calmness spreads across and peace is brought upon us. A quiet, starry night is just enough to rethink of our life.
The sky remains dark and high above the starts to connect to form a constellation. The Big Dipper! The Little Dipper! Its a dream come through. Looking constantly brings nothing but peace to the mind and you begin to observe how beautiful our Mother is and how her children hide it with dust and smoke.

Hours later, the dark bids farewell and its enemy takes over the part.

Author's Note

Annie
Hello readers! This is a very short brief story about my experience. This is a first and I would love if people try and help me with my writing skills.
This story is something I write out of boredom and it comes out perfect. However when it comes to writing something for compulsory use, I'm the worst writer.
Thank you!

Hi there, this isn't bad at all. I like your descriptions and I think maybe try and write something longer to really push your writing skill and see what you can do as this is good and you do have talent
