Frozen And Broken

My heart has frozen,

Turned as black as night,

I'm not sure if I can feel,

Everything has turned numb,

Why won't the pain go away?

The sorrow is devouring me whole,

And there is nothing I can do to stop it.

I'm not sure how much my heart can take,

But I'm sure it's at it's limit.
