the ghost beside me

In shadows deep, a ghost does dwell,

Beside me now, in whispered spell.

A specter's presence, cold and still,

Yet somehow, comforting, a thrill.

Through darkest nights, it lingers near,

A phantom friend, no need to fear.

Its essence shrouded, mystery untold,

In silence, our companionship bold.

No words are spoken, no touch exchanged,

Yet in its aura, I feel estranged.

A spirit close, yet far away,

In twilight realms, where spirits play.

So here we stand, the ghost and I,

Beneath the moonlit, starlit sky.

A bond unseen, yet deeply felt,

Together in the night we melt.

The ghost beside me, silent and true,

A haunting presence, in shades of blue.

In this surreal, mysterious blend,

My spectral companion, until the end.
