A mask

I wear a mask

to hide how I feel

I dont want help

and

I dont want people to worry

The mask helps me leave this world behind,

and yet

noone has seen through the mask

I dont want to lie

but ive noticed

no one seems to care enough

no one seems to understand

no one cant see

why

I am like this

Ive heard those words

No it wont get better

It's not a phase

I dont care if I get attention

I just want to be in my world

where no one can find me

let me where my mask

so I can slip away
