Prologue

            I sighed. I always hated meetings. They were always so boring. " we should the artifact while we still can!" exclaimed amelia. " It's too late to do anything." emmett muttered." If its what we have to do then so be it." just remembering it bores me to death. I mean come on, its the light to the kingdom! we cant hide it, it'll only make things harder for all of us. Not that things were good or anything. And guess who had to be the one to hide it? me! I looked outside my bedroom window. " This is crazy." I said under my breath.
                  How in the world am I gonna do this? I knew the consequences of even getting out there. But I had no choice. I had to hide it so when the next warrior comes, they would know where it is, the war would end and life will be restored. THere were just a few problems. though. The war had already started and if i even go outside theres a 90% chance of death and a 10% chance of me getting wounded. " Are you ready to go?" edwin asked.I put on my cloak and nod. " go make sure noone is in the hallways." He nodded and disappered.
                He came back a few minuites and said " its all clear." I put the hood up and begin to take on the mission. At the end of each hall way i make sure to tell edwin if he sees anyone. Of course it allways turned up as a no. I make through the feild and into the kingdom before they spot me. I quickly throw the light to edwin and say " go! take it and hide it!" "but-" I cut him off ' just go!" he looks sadly at me and disappears. I turn around ready to face my death, and let them come and with one final breath I whisper
" When the Sun and The moon come together
They shall return, New too the powers
and true to their word
they will fight and win
with the obstacles at hand
they shall bring peace back
if only they could stand ,

face the truth,

and behold it."

It's certainly an interesting beginning. I'd like to see more description about the people who are doing the talking. It's clear that this is a person who's been cornered in some fashion and had to hide something important before his enemies reach him. It almost sounds like he's going to make a last stand. While his friend who went to hide the light thing...well... who is Edmond?

Keep up the Ink, I'm curious to see what else follows.
