LostA Poem by louiseA poem for anyone who has felt lost in life and the hopelessness that goes with it
Lost in an oblivion of angry faces,
Seeking out a few places To find a friend to hold my hand And guide me wth laughter over pretty disasters. Alas, it is not to be. Grim reality snatches unfulfilled fantasies And scrapes and scratches to reveal ancient agonies, Waiting to scar my bleeding broken heart once more. What am I to become? Will the hurt ever be gone And drain away from my pulsating capillaries, Seeping into earth's aged cemetries Eternally decimated by the desolate enemy? © 2016 louise |
