Questionable Dream

bloop bloop. another dream of mine

Locked in this white empty room
No door, window
feeling trapped for no reason

I look down in fear
and i see a writing on the floor
"your only way out is to answer my riddle"
below in neon colours, it read...

"I am always remembered so vague,
I am with you you like the plague.
I can be the thing that makes you scream,
or i can make you feel so supreme.
But all that doesn't matter.
What am i?"

I reread the words again and again
But after a few minutes i knew the what the answer was
i whispered aloud,

"Dream"

and once i muttered that word
everything suddenly shattered before my eyes
like my entire world had broken beyond repair
i fell into the darkness of desperation
my heart pounding out of my chest
i was so confused and scared

Was i wrong?

Suddenly,
i awoke...

this freaked me out coz i woke up at night so i thought it was real life XP don't laugh at meh

I love dreams. This seems to remind me that our dreams are not only ways to for us to find the truth within our subconcious but riddles to figure out the true meaning of what it tries to tell us. Nicely done.

So this poem is based on a dream? Maybe you should fill in the blanks and make it a full story. Reading it as a poem made me feel like I was reading an incomplete work or that the writer was holding too much information back. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my gosh yes! That, my friend, is what most people like to call lucid dreaming!! You dream, but you are aware that you are dreaming! Its a real thing! Though yu experienced a very small portion of it and it automatically woke you up. I lucid dream too! lol that sounds crazy. anyways anyways still a great dream, very intriguing and a very cool way of sharing it! Well done!!
