Sometimes you get sad and drunk, so you write about dogs.

A soft warm face
Chocolate eyes

What a wonderful dog

He knows not of my troubles
Though he seeks to help
By showing the love only a dog can show

Licking and crawling 
Beating me to death with a loving tail
This is a wonderful place to be

In the presence of a dog
