Beatrice the bluebird

Written about "Over The Garden Wall". I think I was going for a poem written by Wirt, though I don't know. I remember being a little loopy that night.

Oh Beatrice 

Take me by the hand 

Lead me through this troubled land 

I have lost my path 

I have lost my mind 

Oh Beatrice 

Please don't leave me behind 

Guide me through the disaster I have gotten myself into 

I do not know what else to do 

Fly Beatrice 

Fly and guide 

Through the unknown 

Writing another chapter in my tome 

Endless seas of troublesome trees 

Fleeing beasts 

Physical and mental 

For what feels like eternity

The woodsman knows 

There is little hope 

He sends me on my way

I will put my faith in Beatrice 

Leading me to Adelaide
