MeA Poem by ThisismythearpyOne of those bad personal poems I crank out. It's about me being myself and telling the reader to do the same.I always know what feels right to me That’s why I became what I came to be Me I drive a 1989 Volvo 245 Because nothing else ever felt right I smoke a vintage tobacco pipe It only feels natural I only wear black pocket tees But what people fail to see Is that I’m me There is no point in blending When you are unhappy Assimilation is the assassination of individuality So if you are different Accept it You are you Changing that is something you should never do Like the things you like Hate the things you don’t That is what I do Though I can’t get the person I like back At least I’m trying my best not to be sad By being me
