I'm always a little sad

I hope these poems can speak for themselves, but this is about how some people close to you don't think you have depression or anything. They never would have guessed.

Through the brightest smiles 

And deepest laughs 

I’m always a little sad

Through fun and games

I always feel the same

Deep inside 

Years have passed

But behind eyes so glassed

I am always a little sad

In the happiest of times 

When I am left alone 

The darkness comes 

To take me home 

Where the pain never numbs

My mind

Alone I am deeply sad

Around people I seem extremely glad

Though I am always a little sad

A poem I can certainly relate to... It captures quite well the enduring nature of anxiety/depression and how even good times can be tinged with sorrow. I certainly wish you the best in dealing with your problems.
