Let me stay home

Being forced out of the house when you don't feel like getting out.

Please stop forcing me to leave the house

I’m as timid as a mouse

Going out does not cure my depression

It does not cause it to lessen

I wish to be left alone

I am in a safe place

A comfortable space

Please stop dragging me out of it

If I tell you I don’t want to go

Surely you should know

You’ve been told every day

Though all you can say

Is that we all have to do things we don’t want to
