You were your opressorA Poem by ThisismythearpyWhen someone says you're oppressing them when they are only oppressing themselves.
Label me
With the labels on yourself Label yourself with words I did not say Then tell me how you feel that way Say I make you feel bad Make you feel sad For the imaginary things I say Words never spoken Promises never broken Rules never placed Boundaries never made You wrote your own book of oppression Then forced the pen into my hand When asked who wrote it You said I was the man My pen never made a stroke On the rules in which you choke You forged your chain Onto me you placed the blame Then left me in pain
