Acceptance

My accepting of how people have treated me my whole life, and how they will continue to do so.

I accepted that my life will forever be a cycle

People using me as a stepping stone

To get them to the next mile

While leaving me alone

Another forgotten stone in their path

They will never understand the aftermath

Or maybe they do

But they just don’t care about you

I’ve accepted that

A stone cold fact
