Flaws

Flaws

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

When I saw flaws but was in too bad of shape to do anything about it.

"

I saw my flaws

Failed to change

But can’t you see that’s because my brain was insane?

You can’t change drowning in anxiety

Being pulled down by Ptsd

While your bi-polar depression

Refuses to lessen

I tried my best

Sometimes that just isn’t good enough

Now I work on my flaws

Without a cause

So I sit on my bed

Head in hand

 life without a plan

A fractured man

In the end

Maybe I can win

I liked the connection of "bi-polar depression" and "a fractured man". This concept is cemented by "Now I work on my flaws Without a cause". Tells me you're trying, but with no clear direction and that is what bi-polar depression does. Excellent.
